Getting to know Halls
Halls — historically Halls Crossroads — grew up around the junction of Maynardville Highway and Emory Road and still runs on its own commercial center: groceries, restaurants and services that mean daily errands rarely require leaving the community.
It shares the Beaver Creek valley with Powell next door, and the housing stock tells the area’s story: established ranches and traditionals from earlier decades alongside the newer subdivisions that North Knox growth keeps adding. Downtown Knoxville is a straight run down Maynardville Highway and I-640, and I-75 is minutes west via Emory Road.
